The Chase
A dynamic pastel of a hare in motion. A range of techniques are evident in this pastel in order to portray the textures and features of the hare; the ears are carefully blended to provide a soft, velvety appearance. The body and head have a looser treatment with the pastel strokes defining the form of the hare. Finally the whiskers, eyes and aspects of the fur are carefully drawn with pastel pencils. Pastel on Murano paper Size 500x400mm Supplied with a 3 inch white card mount.
